This week, we're adding more pages to our Spellbook. Here's what we'll be talking about:
🔦 Highlights
🪄 Spells
One big idea we’ve learned each week, shaped into words you can carry forward.
Is being busy actually good?
When busy “feels” productive
Some days, it feels like the whole world is sprinting. Messages keep popping up. Meetings stack one after another. The to-do list never ends.
We used to think that was a good thing. A packed calendar must mean we’re doing great, right?
But after a while, the noise caught up to us. We were typing, replying, editing, rushing — but not really seeing what we were doing. It felt like running on a treadmill. Lots of running, but not much distance.
Jim Kwik, in Limitless, wrote that most people don’t have a focus problem, they have a clarity problem. When we slowed down long enough to think, we saw what he meant.
Clarity, not speed
At AICREATIVV, we realised that work doesn’t need to move fast to move forward.
One morning during a leads meeting, instead of jumping straight into the agenda, we took ten quiet minutes and just talked about emotions. We asked ourselves: what actually matters today? What will make a real difference if we finish it?
The day that followed felt different. Meetings were shorter. Ideas landed faster. The pressure in our chest loosened.
Jim Kwik also said, “You can do anything, but not everything.” We started living by that line. It became a small test we’d ask before each task: Does this really matter right now?
Quiet flow
Presence isn’t about slowing down on work. It’s about paying attention to it.
When we turn off notifications and face the phone down during brainstorms, the room feels lighter. People think deeper. The silence and absence of distraction makes space for ideas to breathe. We’re more attentive, we listen, we understand.
Sometimes, we even cancel a meeting to just sit, review, and think. The next day, progress feels faster because clarity returned.
That’s what presence looks like. Not loud, not flashy. Just steady, focused, and human.
Maybe being limitless isn’t about doing everything. Maybe it’s about showing up fully for one thing, right here, right now. Maybe that’s how we can enter the flow state.

🤳 Updates
Snapshots from our week — the work, the people, and the little victories worth sharing.

Haziyah did it again! She made more not-so-typical missing posters for the team members who are going away for a vacay!
Waterbomb Serasa
Bacica (Nuur Batrisyia Ali) decided that it was time for the team to just chill for once and have fun, and also wanted to celebrate her coming back to the team as a full time business developer after being an intern at AICREATIVV in 2023. Auntie “Mummy” (Bacica’s mom) and Uncle “Daddy” (Bacica’s dad) made so much food. At the same time, we burned those calories by playing rough in the pool. We ended the night with singing songs that were way before Bacica’s era — Sinaran by Sheila Majid, It’s My Life by Bon Jovi and Down by Jay Sean.
Thank you, Bacica!

We Met Daniel Cheng from MDS Collective
On Monday morning, Daniel Cheng called that he wanted to present for a tender presentation in person. Imamull Qhaeer asked when it would be, and he said, Wednesday. So he flew from Singapore the next day and they met that very Wednesday morning.
Here’s Daniel’s profile — safe to say that Imamull felt nervous, as if meeting Goku from Dragon Ball.

First in-person meeting!

Thanks for dropping by, Daniel!
XEDC Shoot and Designing
Over the past few days, the media team has been going for back-to-back shoots for XEDC Vol 2. The designers, on the other hand have been cooped up in their “garden room” cooking up designs for XEDC Vol 2. They’re pumped. Thanks to Pika’s green light for creative freedom, the team is treating this as a creative playground and we’re stoked to share it soon!

Team Circuit by Bacica
After consistently going to the gym 5 times per week, maybe it was time that we stopped skipping cardio. That was when Nur Batrisyia Ali said that she’ll handle the circuit, so we decided to do it at the office. Besides Nuur Batrisyia Ali (who was leading), Ampuan Hafiz, Haziyah Azalmey, Iman Shamsuddin, Imamull Qhaeer and Amal Osmera all agreed. We all were sore the next day. (Especially Haziyah, whose first taste of fitness in a long time was this circuit session)

Getting ready for the warm-up!

Finished our first ever team circut, phew!
UBD Incubation Talk
Imamull Qhaeer was invited by Ms Q (A’qilah Muzani) for a talk with the incubation students this semester. Nuur Batrisyia Ali and Haziyah Azalmey were also there to also give some insights from their experience. The talk lasted about two hours, broken down into three sections.

✨ Recommendations
Things we’re loving lately, because inspiration hides where you least expect them.
Power Washer (Steam, PS5)
One of the odd things Amal Osmera does to release stress is to play a game called Power Washer. The game essentially brings you to a map with very dirty surfaces. You will then spend hours cleaning it with a power washer. Once you reach 100%, you go to the next step and repeat the same process. That’s it. If you dig this, have a look! The second version will be coming on 24th October, 2025.
Spanish Latte from Poursha
According to Raf Zaini, their Spanish latte is always consistent! She mentions that the place and people has good vibes. It’s also close to one of her favourite places ever, Jing Chew!
