This week, we're adding more pages to our Spellbook. Here's what we'll be talking about:
🔦 Highlights
🪄 Spells
One big idea we’ve learned each week, shaped into words you can carry forward.
The fear of losing the spark
Passion turning into pressure
There was a time when everything felt new. Every idea felt like an adventure. Every project felt like a chance to learn something we’d never tried before.
We used to stay late not because we had to, but because we wanted to. The office lights glowed past midnight, music played loudly in the background, and laughter filled the small space between deadlines.
Then one day, that same space felt quieter. Everyone is locked in. The to-do lists got longer. Deadlines arrived faster. And somewhere in between meetings and revisions, the spark that used to come so easily started to dim.
We still cared deeply about the work. But it started to feel like carrying something heavy that used to feel light.
That’s the tricky thing about passion. When it becomes work, it hides behind all the things we now call responsibility.
Remembering where we started
At AICREATIVV, we’ve felt that too. The mornings where coffee doesn’t quite wake you up. The afternoons that feel like one long stretch of tasks instead of “creating”.
But the spark isn’t really gone, it’s just buried under the tight deadlines.
So we started slowing down. We revisited old projects, the ones that made us proud long before anyone else knew who we were. We looked through early designs, first videos, old group photos, and remembered the feeling of starting small but dreaming big.
We even have a wall where we put these memories on.
And slowly, it came back. Not in one loud moment, but in small ones: a laugh during editing, a new idea that made sense, a late-night brainstorm that reminded us why we love doing this.
The spark did not come explosively. Sometimes it starts as a flicker. You just have to give it air.
Finding joy again
In Big Magic, Elizabeth Gilbert wrote, “You don’t have to be fearless before you start. You just have to start.”
Maybe that’s what the spark is asking for…to start again. To play. To make something just because it feels good.
So we began doing small things that brought joy back into the room.
We changed the playlist. We took did non-working content. We did internal content. We shared unfinished ideas just to see where they’d go, and actually tried it for ourselves.
And slowly, the energy shifted. The work felt lighter again.
Maybe the spark never really disappears. Maybe it just waits for you to slow down, breathe, and notice it again.
What about you? What did you do to find that spark again?

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert.

Congratulations, IBTE Interns!
On Thursday, 30th October, 2025 the AICREATIVV team went to the International Convention Centre (ICC), fought for parking and walked long distances; just to reunite with six of our former interns from IBTE and congratulate them on their big day!
From the start of the year, we have watched Adreana Shafeqa (Audrey), Syakir Maslani, Faiqah Adawiyah, Hafizzuddin Junaidi (Biboi), Khadijah Asnawi and Putra Nazirul (Putput) grow from curious students and capable creatives. From pre-production and post-graduation, here at AICREATIVV will always be there to welcome them into our office, where the first few steps of their journey in the creative industry begun.

UBD Masters in Management visit
Raf Zaini brought over her coursemates as AICREATIVV as their case study for their project, “Managing People and Performance in a Creative Organisation: AICREATIVV Case Study”. That one day, her group mates came over and observed the working culture. They also managed to interview some of us, including Hisham Firdaus, Iman Shamsuddin, Ampuan Hafiz and Imamull Qhaeer whom were sent an online questionnaire to fill up, whereas during their observation they managed to catch Nuur Batrisyia Ali, Imamull Qhaeer as well as Ampuan Hafiz in their natural habitats and speak to them face-to-face.

Repurposing our BDCB work as art on the wall
Stephanie Yong (aka Jiejie) is very attached to everything.Including the work that she does. She joked that her life was over after completing one of her flagship projects. Coincidentally, we were able to keep the test prints given to us by Brunei Press. She decided to cut them all up, and paste them over as artworks on the wall in the Garden room. Now the room is called RGB - Red, Green, Blue.
Mrs Worldwide
All the girls in the company (sans Raf) decided that since all the boys in the media team are out for a shoot, they wanted to dress up as the one and only Mr Worldwide, Pitbull. Before leaving for work, they decided to record something fun. This is by far one of the best performing reels last month, on AICREATIVV. Dale!

Alimin saves Hisham Non-Chalantly
After the whole Mrs Worldwide shenanigan, a new dynamic duo has entered the villa. Introducing, Alimin Affendi and Hisham Firdaus who felt like they had to one-up the girls’ viral performing reel. So they made another trend during their break. This is the masterpiece.
@aicreativv Working in media is no easy feat… 😮💨 #AICREATIVV #CreativeAgencyBrunei #mediateam #productionlife #aicreativvmoments
Elroy orchestrates that Imamull invited himself to the Bangkok trip
Meanwhile, in another content posted by Elroy Ramantan, also one of the top performing ones on AICREATIVV, where him and Imamull decided to make a short skit. (Which was later a collaboration post between him, AICREATIVV and Imamull’s personal account)
Backstory, pre-planned. Everything was pre-planned. But in the end, the video was putting things out of context.
ELROOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYY!!! WE planned the trip together what do you mean I hopped in uninvited!!! How dare you change the narrative!!! (yes, this is Imamull)
(Editor’s note: at least it’s doing really well!)
@elroyramantan Looks like my boss is flying with me to Bangkok then. 🥸🙄✈️🇹🇭 @AICREATIVV
✨ Recommendations
Things we’re loving lately, because inspiration hides where you least expect them.
Tiny Glade
One time, Amal Osmera left her gaming PC at the office. She opened up Tiny Glade to show what she’s been building, and the next thing we know people were staying back at the office to play this game until 11PM.
Tiny Glade is a cozy building game with no objectives, no stressful missions, and so on. You can build to your heart’s content. Amal swears that this game can make her be more creative at work.
It’s available on Steam for PC.
Digimon: Time Stranger
After having endless debates in the company about how Digimon is better than Pokémon, Imamull Qhaeer caved and finally bought the game on PS5. Over the weekend, he updated that he spent more than 12 hours in one sitting to put some more progress into his Digimons.
He also wants to show his collection… he says his Digimon is strong…
10/10 Story
10/10 Music
10/10 Digimon selection
10/10 Mechanics
(at least according to him)
