🔦 Highlights

📌 Gen Z’s Flipping the Marketing Funnel

Traditionally, the marketing funnel ends with a purchase.
It starts with:

“Awareness > Interest > Decision > Action”

Gen Z has completely changed this!

Ever since the rise of content on social media, we’ve seen communities everywhere. You’re definitely part of it, even if you don’t notice it.

A sample of how brand content has shifted

Consumers now don’t buy after watching an ad, but will only consider purchasing after continuous reviewing, participation and consideration, after discovering a “tribe” of a brand.

This can also be seen in the shift of content brands make. Notice how big brands now no longer create content or ads about a product, but rather curate content around the product which fits “perfectly” into your lifestyle.

The most important part of marketing is now loyalty. Before we even consider a purchase, we’ll find ourselves scrolling through the content, relentlessly trying to relate it to our lives and when it hits the right spot, that’s when we move the item(s) into our carts.

So, businesses thinking of marketing strategies; rather than focusing on your features or why you’re the best, think about scenarios about why it’s the best for them, your target audience.

📌 Out of Time? Rethink Time Management!

The general complaints we always hear from our peers are that there’s too much work, not enough time or worse, both.

In “Time Management”, a book by Robert M Hocheiser, he discusses the common symptoms of bad time management and introduces multiple ways to go about it. The big surprise we learned is that most of these problems stem from how we think.

People who feel swamped would usually:

  • solve problems in the order in which they arise, resulting in the delay of certain deadlines.

  • do the easy work first, which again pushes deadlines.

  • take care of the hard work first but with shortcuts or the easy way out which minimises quality.

One way to handle this would be to formalise the process.

The next time you think you don’t have enough time, think again! You do have the time but only if you have the guts to make difficult choices.

Here’s what you can do:

  • compare what you want to do with what you’re currently doing.

  • ask yourself how much you gain from one task compared to the other.

  • think of how much you’ll lose by not doing one instead of the other.

  • consider all your options.

Recommendations

Trello Board

When AICREATIVV first started, we had issues updating clients on our progress. This included pinpointing where we were in the project timeline, gather comments or feedback, assign specific tasks to a member or control which information to share with clients.

We then found Trello and solved all these problems!

Table Lamp from Bobby Electronics

Oddly, all our members like to work in a cozy, moody environment. On one of our recent lunch breaks, we decided to stop by Bobby Electrical Co. in Gadong and found this lamp! It’s compact, moveable and rechargeable with 3 different light settings and controllable intensity! Super valuable purchase at around 30 BND!

The lamp adds ambiance to our workspace.

It also fits well in our workspace!
